Fees:
I charge my clients a commission on the final sale price of your items. It ranges between 35%-50% of the final price and this percentage INCLUDES all eBay, selling and credit card payment fees. I reserve the right not to list items I believe won't sell on eBay.
Terms And Conditions:
Buyers on eBay really need to know all the specifics of any item you are selling. The more you can tell me about your item the more successful we'll be selling. Please be sure to tell me about any damage or aspects of your item that would make it less appealing to buyers. I always leave positive feedback for my buyers. Please sell with me because I have a long-standing reputation on eBay and I strive to practice the Golden Rule in my daily business.
Here's an article on How to sell on eBay from The Patriot News that features a couple of quotes from me:

An eBay sign at its headquarters in San Jose, Calif.
Setting up your own
business. Its a dream weve all had at one time or another, maybe as a means to
be our own boss or make extra pocket money.
The Internet has made realizing that dream a lot easier. Places like
eBay, the online auction site, or
Etsy, the crafts site thats become a boon to
artists looking to sell jewelry, clothes and other handmade items online, offer
ways for people to go into business for themselves.
Setting up an account with either site is pretty easy, but what next? If youre
serious about selling your wares, be they handmade or found amidst local garage
sales, how do you turn a profit? What should you do to get a potential
customers attention? We talked to some local sellers who use these sites.
SET UP FOR SUCCESS
Do research: Look at what your potential competitors charge for their
items. If you want to set up a hat shop on Etsy, for example, go to other hat
sellers online stores first. What do their sites look like? What kind of layout
and pictures do they use? How successful do they appear to be?
On eBay, you can search for completed listings. This will tell you how much an
item sold for, how many were sold in recent weeks and how quickly each item
sold. This way youll see if people actually want what youre offering.
Know the value of the item in advance so you dont have unrealistic
expectations, said Todd Lippi of Game
Traders Club in Annville and Elizabethtown, which frequently sells items on
eBay.
New to online selling? Buy something to see how the whole process works
from the customers perspective.
Set up a PayPal account: This addition
to your online shop will make transactions easier for the user and yourself.
Though I do know of some shops who dont use PayPal, using PayPal offers the
sellers quicker payments, credit card options and the ability to purchase
postage and print shipping labels from home, said Ruth Bissot of West Hanover
Twp., who runs the Etsy store called A Cottage Hearth.
Be committed: If youre a Esty seller, you have to love what you make.
If you dont enjoy doing it, its not going to last for you. said Amanda Turner of Lewisberry, who
sells clothing and accessories at
Bella Shade Baby. If youre
an eBay seller, be ready to work. Its like any business, its not easy money.
Its hard work, said Nick Dunphy, who runs Harrisburg Wholesale
in New Cumberland and sells online.
Talk to other sellers: Both Etsy and eBay have extensive forums where
sellers and buyers exchange advice. Etsys big strength is its sense of
community, Bissot said. Their forums are always full of helpful posts, and a
large group of shops offer mentoring to new sellers.
Take good pictures: Providing clear, interesting photographs of items is
a key part of an online shops success. People want to see what youre selling.
Also, if youre selling handmade clothing on Etsy, use models in your
photographs to show your items rather than a coat hanger. (The items will look
better)
Write effective titles and descriptions: What might a buyer be looking for?
What words would he or she type in Google to find it? Think in terms of
achieving greater results from the search engines a customer might use.
Dont waste space and time using words like nice or wow, said eBay
Powerseller and Trading Assistant Bill Wray of Mechanicsburg.
Instead, offer specifics like model numbers, brand name and color. If youre not
sure what to say, look at similar items that sold well and mimic them. .
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ratings: Take the user-generated ratings of your service seriously.
Answer questions quickly: Be flexible. Etsy customers might like what
youre selling but want it in a different color or style. Can you offer it to
them? On either site, if theres a problem with a transaction, attempt to
rectify it right away.
Ship it quickly: One of the best ways to get a good customer rating
available to users on both sites is to mail your items out as quickly as
possible. If you want to surprise the customer, Lippi suggested saying youll
send it by parcel post in the initial description but then ship it first class
instead.
Package your product safely: Use lots of bubble wrap. When someone opens
the box they want to see that you took the time to package it properly.
EBAY SELLING TIPS
One-of-a-kind: If youre selling a one-of-a-kind item on eBay such as a
rare antique, put it up on auction for 30 days to give people more time to find
it.
Take the occasional chance: If youre selling a popular item on eBay, try
setting the starting price really low to see if an ensuing bidding war drives it
up. Its a gutsy move, but when you know what youre doing you wont get
burned, Wray said. The law of economics will come into play.
Be honest: If your auction item is used or has imperfections, say so. It
has to be what you say its going to be or people are going to be upset, Dunphy
said.
End auctions on a Saturday or Sunday: The largest number of people are
home and shopping during the weekend, Dunphy noted.
