Billy Wray is an acoustic piano player (pianist), keyboard player (keyboardist), pipe organ player (organist), instrumental composer and recording/studio artist available for your upcoming wedding ceremony, background piano/keyboard music for your wedding reception, private/corporate party or function, bar/bat mitzvahs, wedding anniversaries, birthday parties, sing-along, or entertainment at holiday parties and special celebrations. He plays piano/keyboard for the surrounding South Central Pennsylvania Harrisburg York Lancaster City & County area including Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York Counties.
Billy has played the piano/organ or his Yamaha digital keyboard professionally for over 40 years (since age 9) including venues such as Harrisburg's The Pride of the Susquehanna (for their riverboat dinner cruises), The Hotel Hershey , Hershey Park , the Pennsylvania Governor's Mansion in Center City Harrisburg (for two Pennsylvania Governors), Lt. Governor Catherine Baker Knoll, Harrisburg's own National Civil War Museum, and various area country clubs and restaurants including the West Shore C.C., Lancaster's Regents' Glen Box Hill Mansion , York's Outdoor C.C. (pianist/keyboardist) and The Roosevelt Tavern (duo and trio) in York, Pa. He also has been a church organist, pianist, and keyboardist for 35 years, and since 1982, he's been playing services and weddings in his home church Christian Life Assembly in Camp Hill, PA. In 2004, Bill played the piano and keyboard on CLA's own worship CD/DVD recording Christian Life Live, "Friend of God". and has just completed his first piano solo instrumental CD. He especially enjoys playing duos with his son (and drummer) Bill Wray III and trios with guitarist Ken Knowlton. Billy Wray also performs as a keyboardist regularly with a five piece high energy dance band called Nightwind and a trio called Nightlite. Here's a picture of the Nightwind Band when they performed for Harley-Davison at Hershey Park. Here's a video presentation of Nightwind. Billy is also a song arranger, songwriter, composer, (coming soon: Billy's own compositions on CD entitled "Prayer Songs Vol. 1" and Just Released Bible Bytes Vol. I), and recording/studio artist. He just needs to listen to your vocal melody, and he can write and record a complete song, in any style, with full orchestration customized just for you. Maybe you're not musically inclined but wrote a poem and want it "put to music". No problem...Billy will custom write, sing, and record your song (with your lyrics), providing you with a finished CD you can give as a gift, use as a song demo, or for your first wedding dance as husband and wife. Or he can also provide a music track minus the vocals just in case you want to do your own serenading or entertaining! What a perfect way to express your love to that special person on that special occasion or entertain your friends at your next get-together.
